AI Sales Agents

AI agents that qualify leads, respond instantly and book meetings, always under human supervision. AI executes; your team decides.

An AI sales agent is a system that executes specific sales tasks — qualifying leads, answering enquiries, booking meetings — autonomously but under human supervision. At AVANTAI we design and implement these agents with one fixed rule: AI executes, while strategy and judgement stay with your team. We never sell replacing anyone.

The problem it solves

Interested buyers don't wait. A lead who writes through your website or replies to an email expects an answer in minutes, not the next day; by the time a late reply arrives, the conversation has gone cold or a competitor has won it. Meanwhile, your sales team loses hours on the least valuable part of the process: answering the same questions, filtering the curious and juggling calendars.

The result is an expensive paradox: the most expensive people in the process spend their time on the tasks that require the least judgement, while the work that does require judgement — conversations with real buyers — competes for their attention against mechanical chores.

How the system works

We build three types of agent, standalone or combined depending on your process:

  1. Lead qualification agent. It receives every inbound lead, asks the questions you would ask — size, need, timeline — and classifies it against your qualified lead criteria. Good fits reach your team with full context; poor fits get a proper answer without consuming sales time.
  2. Virtual SDR that responds and books. An AI SDR agent handles replies to your outbound campaigns: it answers frequent questions, manages simple objections and proposes meeting slots. When a conversation requires human judgement, it hands it over with the full history.
  3. B2B chatbot for your website. It serves visitors with answers drawn from your approved knowledge base, detects buying intent and turns anonymous visits into qualified conversations or booked meetings.

In all three cases the process is the same: we define the script, criteria and boundaries with you; train the agent on approved content; test it against real cases; and review conversations periodically to keep tuning it. Supervision isn't a phase — it's a permanent part of the system.

What's included

  • Conversation flow design and qualification criteria.
  • A knowledge base built and approved with you.
  • Implementation and integration with your website, CRM and calendar.
  • Human-escalation rules, defined and tested.
  • Periodic review of real conversations and agent tuning.
  • Reporting: leads handled, leads qualified and meetings booked.

Who it's for

For B2B companies that receive more enquiries than they can answer quickly, or whose sales team loses hours on qualification and scheduling. It pairs especially well with the AI Outbound Engine: the system generates conversations and the agent makes sure none of them wait.

It's not for anyone trying to remove human contact from their sales process — in high-ticket B2B, that destroys value — nor for processes where every enquiry is so singular that there's no pattern to automate.

If you want to see where an agent would fit in your process, the starting point is a strategy call: we analyse your current lead flow and tell you what deserves an agent, what deserves simple automation and what should stay human.

Does this fit your situation?

We review it against your specific case in a 30-minute call. No strings attached.

Frequently asked questions

Will an AI agent replace my sales team?

No, and be wary of anyone promising that. The agent executes specific tasks: responding, qualifying, booking. Strategy, negotiation and closing belong to your team. The goal is for your salespeople to spend their time on valuable conversations, not on filtering the merely curious.

What happens when the agent doesn't know the answer?

It escalates to a person, and that rule is set at design time: which questions it answers, which it hands off and to whom. A good agent knows its limits; a badly built one improvises, and that's exactly what we prevent through supervision and conversation review.

Will the agent make things up?

The agents we build answer only from a knowledge base you've approved: your services, your qualification criteria, your frequent questions. If something isn't in that base, the agent hands off to your team instead of inventing. And we review real conversations to keep tuning it.

How long until an agent is up and running?

It depends on the case: a web qualification chatbot is not the same as a virtual SDR connected to your CRM and calendar. In the strategy call we assess your case and give you a phased plan with realistic timelines.
